Radio Bop Africa is proud to announce the launch of Future Friday, a dedicated weekly segment on our morning show THIS IS IT, airing every Friday from 8:00–10:00 AM within the show’s 6:00–10:00 AM broadcast. Future Friday will center on youth and the role young people play in shaping Africa’s future — exploring employment, digital transformation, leadership and empowerment initiatives.
Why Future Friday?
Fridays are a moment to look ahead. Future Friday aims to amplify young voices, surface opportunities for meaningful participation, and connect listeners with programs and pathways that support youth empowerment. The segment aligns with Radio Bop Africa’s mission to inform, inspire and mobilize the next generation of leaders and change-makers.
What to Expect
- Youth voices: Every Friday between 8:00 and 10:00 AM we’ll feature young entrepreneurs, student leaders, activists, creatives and technologists sharing visions, challenges and successes.
- Career and opportunity spotlights: Discussions will cover job readiness, entrepreneurship, internships, apprenticeships, and emerging sectors driven by digital transformation.
- Skills and leadership: Episodes will focus on skills development, mentorship, civic leadership, and pathways to influence in business, government and civil society.
- Programs and initiatives: We’ll highlight training programs, scholarships, incubators and youth-led projects that are driving impact and creating opportunities.
- Honest conversations: Panels will address barriers like unemployment, skills mismatches, access to capital and representation — and explore practical solutions.
- Listener participation: Young listeners can share their stories, pitch ideas, ask questions and nominate peers or programs to be featured.
